Howard Brown is now in his second year as Chairman, prior to this he held the positions of Vice Chairman and
Secretary and has been involved with the club since 2000. In addition Howard also manages our the U15’s
team.
The development of the club since it was first founded in 1992 has been significant, last season there was no let
up as the club had its most successful year ever, both on and off the field. As we commence the 2006-2007
season 06/07 begins Howard has no doubt that with the continued desire and application of so many valued
volunteers, CCYFC will build upon those achievements and continue to grow and have a greater impact on the
local community within the Wimborne and Ferndown a.reas.
This season CCYFC will be even larger in size as it will be represented by 9 nine teams, our largest number ever
who will play in either the BYFL Bournemouth Youth Football League or Dorset Leagues.
CCYFC has been a Charter Standard Club since 2001, our the current aspirations of the management team are is
to achieve “Development Status” for the start of season 07/082007-2008 season and Community Status by 2010.

Yvonne continues as both Club Secretary and Welfare Officer for season 07/08. She now has one son playing in
an 11 – a-side team for this coming season. Yvonne continues to support the managers and committee dealing

I have been with Cannon Colts for 7 years, plus in this time I have Co managed the under
10's, helped with coaching the team up until last year. I am now the club kit man and parent
rep for the under 15's.

My involvement with Cannon Colts began in 2000
following my retirement from teaching. I helped to
organise the annual East Dorset Six-a-Side
Tournament hosted by Cannon Colts, taking over as
tournament secretary the following year and
continuing in this roll until 2005 I became the club
Treasurer in 2001

CCYFC Consultant John Cornish
John, from Wimborne is a freelance marketer and project manager whose son,
Chris played with Cannon Colts YFC for many years.
Chris is one of several "old" CCYFC players who now play in Division 3 of
the Dorset FA's Saturday League.
In appreciation for the excellent coaching and football opportunities given
to Chris - John is keen to offer support in the areas of maintaining CCYFC's
Charter Status and in liaison with EDDC to promote the need for new football
facilities in the locality.
